with guest song leader Tembre de Carteret, County Clare, Ireland
Tembre is a song/choir leader and composer in County Clare, Ireland where she lives with her family. Originally from the UK, she came to the west of Ireland when she was a child. Ireland’s offerings of wild nature were her playground and inspiration. She has been leading men, women and children in song in Ireland for 20 years and since May 2010 has created a unique online singing community through her collaborative events We May Sing. Her roles as a choir leader, community musician, mentor, early-years music educator and performer have nurtured and inspired her work and passion. Tembre leads in a natural organic way, creating a safe, held and fun space, inclusive of heart and exploration. Tembre has a love for singing easy melodies and harmonies that are accessible to all.

“It’s more than just showing up and singing; when I leave after practice and certainly after performance I feel lifted up by something larger.”
“While we’re singing nothing else exists. It’s like a meditation with beautiful sounds and I am completely lost in the moment.”
